Michigan Center once again played great team basketball and showed poise and passion as they defeated Dearborn Henry Ford 57-41 in the opening Regional game at Milan High School.  Michigan Center was led by Kaycee Shannon with 22 points, 3 steals, and 2 rebounds.  Masyn Shannon added 12 points and 6 rebounds.  Teagan Haynes scored 8 points with 1 steal, 3 assists, and 3 rebounds.  Shealynn Tripp scored 6 points with 2 steals, 2 assists, and 3 rebounds.  Morgan Morris 4 points, and 5 rebounds.  Alize' Tripp  with 4 points, 1 steal, 1 assist, and 2 rebounds.  Brianna 1 point and 5 rebounds.  Michigan Center led 29-26 at the half outscored Dearborn in the second half 28-15.  The Cardinals were definitely outsized with Dearborn having a 6'5" and 6'4" player but never lost composure and played with heart.  Dearborn was led by Lachelle Austin with 21 points.  The Cardinals will face New Boston in the Regional Final at Milan High School on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
