Last Wednesday our grapplers began their 2018-19 Cascade season with a dual victory over Hanover Horton.  All the remaining conference duals will take place after the holiday break as we continue or quest for a Cascade team title.

This past weekend we competed at the Gull Lake Team Tournament.  Our record was 2-3 on the day with all duals being very close.  We picked up wins over Schoolcraft (ranked 5th in D4) and Paw Paw and lost competitive duals to Harper Creek, Climax-Martin, and St. Josephs.  

Everybody in our line up got at least one individual victory. 

Scott Taylor, Tommy Masters and Greg Mullinax were 3-2 on the day.

Corey Gamet, Josh Rankin and Brock Kuhn finished with 5-0 records.

Brock Kuhn earned an impressive victory over the top ranked HWT from Division 4 and was awarded the all around Tournament MVP!  That is an impressive feat at a tournament with 16 quality teams and it is the first time in his career that he has earned this honor.

They next compete at the Napoleon Individual Tournament on January 5th.
