This past Saturday our boys competed in the tough Todd Stern (aka Leslie) Invitational.  A total of 21 teams entered line ups in this highly competitive individual tournament.

Corey Gamet and Brock Kuhn were both tournament champions at their respective weights.  

Additionally Brock cleared the huge 150 win milestone, needless to say that is a lot of wins to get in a four year varsity career and a feat that very few high school wrestler accomplish.  He is the first MC wrestler to do this and he continues to shatter the previous career win record with each victory that he earns this season.

Josh Rankin was tournament runner up losing a very tight and poorly officiated match to the #1 ranked 130 wrestler from Division 4.  He will have a chance to avenge that loss in the Cascade Conference finals this Friday night at Hanover Horton as he tries to be the first ever Michigan Center wrestler to win 4 Conference Titles!!

Our final conference dual meet is tonight at Vandercook Lake, wrestling begins at 6pm.  Then we wrap up our regular season this Friday with the conference individual tournament, wrestling begins at 5pm.
