The JV basketball team beat Napoleon 61 to 23. The Cardinals started slowly, leading only 11 to 6 after the first quarter. In the 2nd quarter MC outscored the Pirates 17-3 to open up a 28 to 9 lead. The team played hard and unselfishly, totaling 16 assists and 22 steals. Andi Mackenzie led the Cardinals with 19 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 steals. Erin Prater grabbed a game high 9 rebounds and Marayah Nadell had 8 boards. Taylor Lammon and Amanda Zaborowski each scored 7 points while Mic Jaycox added 6. The team is 7-0.
