EAST JACKSON HIGH SCHOOL: 15
The JV Girls Basketball team beat East Jackson 56 to 15. The Cardinals built an 18-1 lead after the first quarter and led 37 to 9 at halftime. Andi Mackenzie led the team with 12 points and Anna Reynolds added a career high 11. Kaylee Nichols chipped in with 7 points and 5 rebounds and Maddie Vieau added 5 points, 4 steals, and 3 assists. Mara Nadell led the team with 8 rebounds while Erin Prater had 6 rebounds and 4 steals. Amanda Zaborowski had a nice all around game with 5 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 assists. Hannah Roe had 4 rebounds and 4 steals and Mic Jaycox led the team with 4 assists and added 3 rebounds. The Cardinals had 26 steals and 17 assists and are now 8-0 overall. MC is 4-0 in the Cascades Conference.
