The JV girls won a hard fought game against Hanover Horton, 47 to 33.  Sophomore leadership proved to be the difference as they combined to score 42 of the 47 points for the Cardinals.  Andi Mackenzie led the team with 13, Mic Jaycox scored 11, and both Erin Prater and Taylor Lammon netted 9.  Jaycox led the team with 6 rebounds, while Prater and Hannah Roe added 5.  Lammon had 4 assists while Jaycox had 3.  Prater led the team with 7 steals.   After 1 quarter the game was 4-0 and it was 17 to 7 at halftime.  The Cardinals made 3 three pointers in the 3rd quarter and led 36 to 22 heading to the 4th.  MC turned the ball over a season high 23 times and will need to improve before playing Hanover again in less than 2 weeks.  The JV squad is now 13-0 overall and 9-0 in the Conference.  Hanover now has only 1 league loss.
