The MC JV Girls won a huge game against previously unbeaten Columbia, 61-41.  The Cardinals trailed 17-11 after the first quarter, and at one point were losing by 13 points in the 2nd 1/4 before the halftime buzzer sounded with a 30-23 score.  Andi Mackenzie had an unbelievable 2nd half with 21 points, but it was a total team effort that turned the tide for the Cardinals.  The team scored 25 3rd 1/4 points and held CC to 8, which meant MC led by 10 going into the final period.  Defensively the team played awesome, limiting CC to 3 final quarter points.  Mackenzie finished with a career high 30 points, including 5 3pters.  Logan Murphy and Madi Bradley both added 8 points.  Erin Prater led the Cards with 8 boards.  Mic Jaycox scored 5 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, and added 4 assists.  The team made 17 of 25 free throws.  The overall team effort, offensively and defensively, was the best of the season.  The win improved the MC record to 18-0 overall with one game remaining.
