GRASS LAKE HIGH SCHOOL: 10
The MC JV girls team beat Grass Lake 60-10 on Thursday night. Savanna Stewart and Anna Reynolds played fantastic individual defense on GL's best player and received great help from their teammates. The Cardinals held GL to under 5 points every quarter. Madi Bradley overcame a slow start to lead the team with 17 points, and added 7 steals, 4 assists, and 4 rebounds. Reynolds had 9 points and 6 steals. Kamryn Shannon led the team with 6 rebounds and added 8 points and 5 steals. Every Cardinal scored for the 3rd straight game and the team had 29 steals, 18 assists, and just 6 turnovers. The JV team is now 3-0 overall and 1-0 in the Cascades Conference.
