EAST JACKSON HIGH SCHOOL: 17
The JV Girls Basketball team beat East Jackson 67-17 on Tuesday night. After a slow start the Cardinals got hot, with Logan Murphy, Kamryn Shannon, Savanna Stewart, Kennedy Kelley, and Jersey Franks leading the charge and outscoring the Trojans 15-0 over a 5 minute span. It was a total team effort with a very balanced attack. Madi Bradley led the team with 11 points, Murphy had 10, Stewart and Anna Reynolds added 9, Hannah Roe added 8. Franks (6), Shannon (6), Kelley (5), and Maddie Vieau (3) rounded out the scoring. Kaylee Nichols and Shannon led the Cards with 6 rebounds. Reynolds had 7 assists and 3 steals. Other players with 3 steals included Murphy, Shannon, Kelley, Bradley, and Vieau. The team is now 6-0 overall and 2-0 in the Cascades Conference.
