NAPOLEON HIGH SCHOOL: 12
The JV girls basketball team beat Napoleon 60-12 on Thursday night. The team's smothering defense led to 22 steals and a running clock most of the second half. Logan Murphy scored 14 points and Anna Reynolds and Madi Bradley added 10 points each. Savanna Stewart scored 8 points and Hannah Roe was dominant in the paint, scoring 7 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Kamryn Shannon had 4 points and 6 rebounds. Reynolds had 5 steals, and Stewart had 4 assists to pace the Cardinals. Nine players had steals, nine players had rebounds, and seven players had assists. The JV team is now 7-0 overall and 3-0 in the Cascades Conference.
